Milngavie resides within the parish of New Kilpatrick and a historical account of the area can be found in both Old and New Statistical Accounts of Scotland, although neither the farm nor Corbie Ha are mentioned explicitly.
In 1966 the Rev John Peat wrote an interesting account of the history Milngavie when he was minister of St Paul's Parish Church and although the book is now out of print, various chapters have been reproduced on St Paul's website.
Find out more about the local area on the unofficial guide website.
